JSW MG Motor India has officially launched the Exclusive Pro variant of its all-electric hatchback, the MG Windsor EV, in the Indian market. Priced at ₹17.24 lakh (ex-showroom), this newly introduced top-tier variant comes with a larger 52.9 kWh battery pack, extending the range up to 449 km on a single charge—positioning it as a premium offering in the sub-₹20 lakh EV segment.

Windsor EV Exclusive Pro: Bigger Battery, Extended Range

The standout feature of the Exclusive Pro variant is its high-capacity 52.9 kWh battery, which significantly boosts the driving range to 449 km (ARAI-certified). This is a notable upgrade from the standard 38 kWh battery, which offers a 332 km range. Until now, the Essence Pro was the only variant available with this extended-range battery pack, making the Exclusive Pro a more affordable option for long-range EV buyers.

Variant-Wise Pricing: EV with Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) Option

In line with MG’s customer-friendly pricing strategy, the Windsor EV continues to offer the innovative Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model. This enables buyers to opt for a lower upfront cost, while paying a per-kilometre subscription fee.

The MG Windsor EV lineup has already witnessed significant customer interest. According to Rakesh Sen, Head of Sales at JSW MG Motor India, the brand recorded over 8,000 bookings for the MG Windsor PRO within 24 hours of its launch. He stated:

“With the top variant now established, we are expanding the accessibility of the MG Windsor by introducing the Exclusive PRO variant, offering a larger battery pack alongside premium comfort and convenience.”
